We have 8 classes at Askam Village School
Nursery and Reception make up the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
We have nursery class every morning. Mrs Kewley is a qualified teacher and she works with Mrs Hopkins. Other adults also work in the nursery with pupils as required.
Reception is taught by Miss Pritt. Miss Merrell works in Reception Class in the mornings, other adults work in Reception class too.
Years 1 and 2 make up Key Stage 1. There is one class per year group.
Finally, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are Key Stage 2. There is one class per year group of classes in Key Stage 2.
